belong to staff working in any sector of adult education (including management, free-lancers, unemployed with experience in that field) like for example:

teachers/trainers in adult education and the trainers of such teachers/trainers

people involved in intercultural adult education, or working with migrant workers and travellers; with adults with special educational needs

DAY 1:

constructing the feeling of safety and trust within a group through Deep Democracy activities

theoretical input: organization’s Iceberg analogy (of the conscious and unconscious)

majority democracy and its drawbacks

how the group's unconscious can enrich and boost innovation?

discussion/work about intercultural education in school and in adult education
DAY 3:

what kind of differences can we find within different social-cultural groups? what conflictual topic(s) are lurking in the background?

introduction to the facilitated discussion and decision-making tools

basic and necessary facilitator's and teacher's „metaskills”
DAY 4:

an example of a short training project for adults based on the Deep Democracy approach.

concept of prejudice and different manifestations of minorities marginalizaton

theoretical input on facilitating in groups, in schools and other learning organizations

experiencing, and reflecting on the different exercises

How can you become the course participant?
In order to apply to your local EU Grundtvig LLP you need to pre-register with Deep Democracy Foundation in order to apply for the grant with your National Agency. If you are interested in participating in the training , please contact us by e-mail: biuro@deepdemocracy.pl.
Upon receipt of your e-mail we will prepare your pre-registration letter required by your local, national Grundtvig LLP.
Once the funding is granted, you should then proceed to the registration and confirm payment. You can also apply directly for a place on the course by paying your own fees.
